K9 glass has a high optical purity, which means that the light that enters this type of glass does not gradually fade through the passage and there is a refraction on the ground edges with a high reflection, which can be further enhanced by light plating. The high optical purity in this special borosilicate glass is due to the addition of lead oxide, which is also used in so-called lead crystal (similar to glass alloys with a lead content between 10 and 35 %), which is used to make chandeliers, vases and luxury dishes with a high gloss similar to crystal. For glass, a lead content limit of up to 35 by weight is permitted as safe %. Glass is essential for its so-called chemical inertness in releasing many substances, and lead is one of them in this respect, thanks to which lead crystal has gained great popularity among the aristocracy in the past, and many people have inherited cut glasses from it for several generations. This particular borosilicate glass alloy, designated K9, contains only 9 % lead - almost 4 times less than the limits allow and from the point of view of health safety there is nothing to worry about.

Due to the color setting of the monitor, the color of the goods may differ slightly from reality.
