Mineral beads

Minerals are elements or compounds in the crystalline state that have been formed by geological processes (ie processes below the earth's surface). Pearls (natural pearls) and coral, which are among the so-called animal minerals, cannot be included in this group, as they are "minerals" created by living organisms and were not formed by the action of the earth. According to the IMA (International Mineralogical Association) identified more than 5 000 minerals and this number increases by about 100 more every year. However, most minerals have only a limited occurrence and only about 300 minerals are among the most abundant with larger and more frequent deposits. In our offer of more than 1,500 items, you will find mineral beads from a total of 90 types of minerals and more than 30 countries around the world, making it the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Minerals can be divided into 3 groups - natural, synthetic and imitation. Natural mineral purely natural origin, synthetic were made by man (ie it is an artificial mineral, which can often look even better than the natural one and even have the same composition, but it was not created by the action of the earth) and imitation it can be made of both natural and synthetic minerals, but it always mimics a different mineral and thus has a different composition (typically imitations of other more expensive ones are produced by coloring cheap minerals).
