Real agar wood beads with a diameter of 8 mm and a hole for a thread with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm. The beads are absolutely natural, without any dye. In addition, the beads have their typical scen. Agar wood is also referred to as agar, eagle, aloe, or gahara or kalamabak wood. It is mainly used for the production of eastern-tuned jewelery, where it also comes from, among other things.

The agar wood from which the beads are made is a rare hardwood. The trees of the genus Aquilaria, from which this wood comes, grow in the region of Southeast Asia - it grows in part of the rainforests in Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, northern India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Borneo and New Guinea. The peculiarity of this wood is the way it is made. In order to produce agar wood from the raw wood of trees of the genus Aquilaria, it must be attacked by mold of the genus Phialophora parasitica. From the original very light wood, which does not even have any characteristic smell, a darker wood with a characteristic smell is created. During the growth of the mold, a dark aromatic resin is released from the tree, which is called aloe (not to be confused with a plant of the aloe species - this is a resin that has only the same designation, but otherwise has nothing to do with the aloe plant), or with this resin. it also says agar (again, not to be confused with the polysaccharide agar, which is made from algae), or the resin is also referred to as gahar, jinko, or oud. Thanks to this resin caused by fungal infestation of trees, wood with a characteristic decor is created, which is highly valued, especially in India. Since the resulting shade of the wood depends on the coloration of the resin which is released from the tree under the action of the mold and at the same time also on the time and temperature which is left to the whole process, this wood has a large number of species.

Due to the color setting of the monitor, the color of the goods may differ slightly from reality.
