Brass pendant in the shape of a flat hegagon with a surface plating in size of 12 x 10 x 1 mm and with an eyelet for a thread in diameter of 1.2 mm. This pendant has high resistance to abrasion or scratching thanks to galvanic plating. The product is ideal for engraving your own texts or images.
The pendants are second grade quality due to minor abrasions and imperfect plating. However, the pendants have a flaw only on one side, so it is still possible to engrave the other side. For an example of specific defects see pictures.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, which has always been very popular in jewelry, thanks to its good ductility, hardness, corrosion resistance and, compared to pure metals, even a pleasant price. In its raw unplated state, brass has a beautiful golden color, thanks to which it is sometimes confused with gold. Over time, however, brass is passivated (it is coated with a layer of oxides that protect it from corrosion) and changes color from yellow-green to yellow-brown to green to green-brown. This layer is popularly called copper and is formed mainly by a thin layer of alkaline malachite. Therefore, brass is widely plated to ensure better color fastness.
Due to the color setting of the monitor, the color of the goods may differ slightly from reality.
