Bead cap made of stainless (surgical) steel in the shape of a flower measuring 12 x 2.5 mm and with a hole for a thread with a diameter of 1 mm. The caps are made of stainless steel type 316.

The alloy of stainless (surgical) steel beads is referred to as SAE 316 (so-called marine steel, which is now used, for example, for the production of surgical instruments). In addition to iron, as the main component, it usually contains around 16-18 % chromium, 10-14 % nickel, 2 % manganese and 2-3 % molybdenum, thanks to which the product is also resistant to the action of mineral (non-oxidizing) acids. Detailed information on the composition and properties can be found at English wikipedia.
