Tumbled round beads made of the natural mineral heliotrope (also known by the trade name bloodstone) in red-brown to red-black color with a diameter of 8 mm and a 1 mm hole for a thread. Heliotrope is one of the variants of chalcedony and in case that this mineral has weathered and then, either in valleys or at the bottom of the sea, it has been re-formed by pressure into a hard stone, then it is like this he refers to sedimented chalcedony (or other quartz mineral) as jasper. Whether the beads are made of original unweathered chalcedony, or they are secondarily formed as jasper, in both cases they have the same composition and color characteristic of heliotrope. The beads are absolutely natural without any dyeing.
